The Barcelona-Figueras LAV (High-speed Line), which connects with the international section in a definitive manner, was put into commercial service on the 9th of January 2013. At the end of January, the international French TGV and the Spanish AVE S-100 trains that are used along the international routes between Barcelona and France (Paris, Marseilles, Toulouse, Lyon and Geneva) were officially approved in April 2013.
TP Ferro obtained Substantial Completion status authorisation on the 17th of January 2013.
