Project description: A public works concession contract comprised of the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of 42 kilometres of the A30 highway located south of Montreal. In addition to a tunnel and a toll plaza, this newly constructed section includes 2 bridges; the Serge-Marcil Bridge with a length of 1.8 km’s crossing over the St-Lawrence River, and the Madeleine Parent Bridge, spanning 2.5 km’s over the seaway. The contract also includes the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of 35 km’s of highway that were previously built by the Quebec Ministry of Transportation via conventional means. The Highway and the toll plaza have been fully operational since December 15, 2012.
