Project description: Public works concession contract for the building, financing and operation of the Platinum Toll Highway. The contract covers a section of the N4 linking Pretoria to the west with the Botswana border (290km) and a section of the National 1 (N1) running north from Pretoria to Warmbaths (90km). The project includes expansion and/or improvement of existing sections and construction of new sections on the N4, where it connects with the N1 and the Rustemburg Road. It is 381km long and was put into operation on March 2002.
