Iridium has extensive experience in the management of motorway concession projects. Over the course of its existence, the company has managed a total of 62 toll motorways, with a total length of 6,400km, in Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, United States, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Portugal, Puerto Rico, South Africa and the United Kingdom.	Through its subsidiary Desarrollo de Concesiones Ferroviarias, Iridium has a long track record with railway concession projects – 1,860km in total –, which began in 1997 with the award of the Arganda Metro in Madrid.
Iridium has participated in development, financing, management, operation, administration, maintenance, conservation, renewal and fitting-out for government airport concessions in Colombia, Mexico, Chile and Jamaica.	Iridium has been the pioneer in the development of hospital concessions, which has involved construction, non-electromedical equipping, financing and provision of non-medical services for hospitals.
Iridium is involved in the main Intermodal Transportation Hub concessions in Madrid: Avenida de América, Plaza de Castilla and Príncipe Pío. With a total investment of approximately €200 million euros, daily passenger numbers passing through these Intermodal Transportation Hub exceed 600,000.	Iridium also operates concessions for prisons, an area it has pioneered. On 30 April 2007, the Centro Penitenciario Brians-2 (Catalonia) entered into service, the first prison in Spain to be financed under the PPP model.
The management and operation of car parks, both short-term and residential, is handled by Iridium Aparcamientos, S.L., a subsidiary of Iridium Concesiones de Infraestructuras, S.A. Iridium Aparcamientos, S.L. manages 30 car parks in Spain, with a total of over 13,000 parking spaces. It is present in seven Spanish cities, with a particular emphasis on the Madrid region.	Iridium has also participated in concessions for sports facilities through the management and operation of water company Canal de Isabel II's "Tercer Depósito" sports complex in Madrid and the Los Libertadores border complex in Chile. Additionally, it analyses any type of public facility concession: courts, stadiums, schools, etc.
