Iridium has signed the concession contract for the Hospital de Can Misses and two associated health centers with Balearic Health Services on Ibiza Island in Spain. The total investment comes to 132 million Euros with a concession period of 32 years and 7 months. Similarly, the “groundbreaking” event was held on the 29th of March with the Balearic Island Government Dignitaries attending.
The contract was signed on the 5th of March and includes the construction, maintenance, conservation, updating and operation of the Hospital de Can Misses and two associated health centers. It also includes the non-clinical services at the constructed centers, together with five other health centers and the Hospital de Formentera, which are included in the Ibiza Health Area Management.
On the 29th of March, the concessionaire, with Iridium having a 40% stake, the Gran Hospital Can Misses Ibiza and the Balearic Government, presided the “groundbreaking” event for the construction project. The event was attended by the President of Balearic Government, the Mayors of the City of Ibiza, the President of the Ibiza Council and other dignitaries.
