The Bakwena project includes the construction, finance, and operation of the Platinum Toll Highway. The project consists of a 290-km section of the N4, linking Pretoria to the west with the Botswana border and a 90-km section of the N1 running north from Pretoria to Warmbaths. The project includes the expansion and/or improvement of existing sections and construction of new sections on the N4 where it connects with the N1 and the Rustemburg Road.
