The project included the design, construction, and finance of improvements along the A13 at four interchanges: Canning Town, Prince Regent Street, Woolwich Manor Way, and Movers Lane – Old Roding Bridge. The project also included the operations and maintenance of two roadway sections – 3.7 km along the Docklands Roads, which included two tunnels, and 20.5 km along the A13 between Butcher Road and Wennington. The replacement of the River Lea Crossing and the Lodge Avenue Flyover bridges was also included in the contract.
