The Eglinton Crosstown LRT project is a 19.6-km (12.2-mile) long light rail line running along the core of Toronto and includes 25 stations. The project includes the design, construction, finance, maintenance, and rehabilitation of a 0.8-km (0.5-mile) elevated section, a 10.1-km (6.3-mile) twin bore tunneled section, and a 8-km (5-mile) long at-grade section in a semi-exclusive right-of-way. It includes all track, train control systems, structures, signaling, driverless vehicles, traction power, overhead catenary system, 15 underground stations, 10 at grade stations, an Operations Control Center, a Backup Operations Control Center, and a 24,886 m2 (267,870-ft2) maintenance and storage facility.
