In 2017, the ACS Group was selected to recondition, operate, and maintain the Angels Flight funicular (train) in Los Angeles, California for a 30-year term.

Opened in 1901, the Angels Flight is said to be the world’s shortest railway and is considered as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. It takes passengers on a quick ride from Hill Street and Grand Avenue up Bunker Hill. It is estimated that Angels Flight has carried more passengers per mile than any other railway in the world, over a 100 million in its first 50 years.
