The M-30 Motorway, a 32.5-km inner ring road around Madrid, includes the longest urban tunnel in Europe (nearly 10 km). More than 40,000 vehicles drive through the tunnels per day. The main mechanical and electrical assets include 32 water pumping wells as part of the drainage system, 37 substations, more than 200 emergency exits, 1,700 cameras, and 1,000 jet fans.
