The N25 New Ross Bypass includes the design, construction, finance, operations, and maintenance of sections of both the N25 and N30 routes, comprising approximately 14.3 km of dual carriageway. The project also includes the design, build, and finance of 1.2 km of single carriageway in the N30 route East of Corcoran’s Cross´ roundabout. The project´s main feature is the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge. This 3-tower extradosed bridge has two 230-km main spans, the longest post-tensioned all concrete extradosed spans in the world. The bridge extends 900 meters over the River Barrow to the south of New Ross and is also the longest bridge in Ireland. Other features include three at-grade roundabout junctions, 12 roadway bridges, one railway bridge, and 11 underpasses.
