The Avenida de América Intermodal Transportation Hub includes the operation and maintenance of the public intermodal transportation hub and residential and public parking located at Avenida de América in Madrid. Located between the A-2 and M-30 highways, it is one of the principal access corridors to the city, collecting the flows from the Henares corridor and the northeast area of Spain. The 4-story, 46,898 m2 intermodal center has 36 bus platforms for long distance, urban, and regional buses, a commercial area for users, and exclusive access tunnels totaling 650 meters. The center also has 396 residential parking spaces, 265 public parking spaces, a large shopping area, and a direct connection to the Metro network. The transportation hub serves approximately 200,000 people a day, making it one of the busiest stations across Europe.
