The Seville Metro Line 1 contract includes the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of an 18-km light rail transit line running along a dedicated track through downtown Seville. The project included 10 km of tunnels, 2.3 km of viaduct, and 5.6 km of at-grade alignment. The project also includes 21 light-rail vehicles, 22 stations (six at-grade, six below-grade, and 10 underground), seven substations, and a 65,032-square meter maintenance storage facility.
