The N25 Waterford Bypass includes the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the 465-meter-long Suir River Crossing cable stayed bridge, 23 km of dual carriageway, and 14 km of single carriageway. By providing a bypass route, including a new crossing of the River Suir, the N25 Waterford Bypass has greatly eased traffic congestion and benefited the local community of Waterford by improving the environment and travel times. The project will also bring significant benefits to the commercial sector as the route is a vital national artery, being a pivotal point on the N25 Cork to Rosslare port route.
