ARTBA (the American Road and Transportation Builders Association), made up of the main construction and engineering companies and transport departments for the USA?s various authorities, awarded ACS Infrastructure Development several prizes.
07/31/2009 Concession agreement Autovía del Pirineo (Spain)
Iridium has been awarded and has signed the concession contract of the Pyrenean Dual Carriageway (Autovía del Pirineo) project in the Comunidad Foral de Navarra for thirty years. The total budget is 241 million Euros.

Iridium signs with the State of North Carolina a contract to develop its first infrastructure concession. Iridium is to design and execute the project to build and operate an 11 km bridge worth 700 million dollars.
04/20/2009 Financial Closure Algarve Litoral (Portugal)
Iridium has signed the concession contract and completed the financial closure of the project for the Algarve Litoral Subconcession.The total amount of the financial closure is 164 million euros.
04/02/2009 Opening of Line 1 of the Seville Subway (Spain)
Line 1 of the Seville Subway was inaugurated with the presence of the President of the Government of Andalusia and the Minister of Public Works.
03/06/2009 Algarve Litoral Subconcession Awarded (Portugal)
Iridium has been selected by the Portuguese government to construct and operate the Algarve Litoral subconcession over a 30-year period. The project value is 266 million euros.
03/03/2009 First Availability Payment Contract in the USA
Iridium closes its First Availability Payment Contract in the United States, as well as the first Private- Public Partnership project in Florida. Also, has raised 1.46 billion US dollars in project finance.
02/25/2009 San Cristobal Tunnel Financial Closure (Chile)
Iridium has completed the financial closure of the project for the concession of the San Cristobal Tunnel, Chile. The total amount of the financial closure is 1.9 million UF (approximately 52 million euros)

Iridium has signed the concession contract and completed the financial closure of the project for the concession of the Baixo Alentejo Motorway (Alentejo, Portugal). The total amount of the financial closure is 381.7 million euros

Iridium has signed a concession agreement and has arranged project financing for 13 stations on section IV of Line 9 of the Barcelona Metro, with an investment worth some 590 million euros.
