The Southern Ohio Veterans Memorial Highway is a design-build-finance-operate-maintain contract to improve safety and mobility around the Portsmouth region in Ohio. The project includes a 16-mile (25.7-km), 4-lane, divided, limited-access highway, bypassing the city of Portsmouth and diverting traffic from US 52 and US 23. The project includes five new interchanges and all associated items, including earthwork, pavements, landscaping, drainage, utilities, guardrail, barrier, retaining and noise abatement walls, bridges, culverts, traffic control, lighting, and aesthetic enhancements for the completion of the facility.
